GeneArt Translator

Client:
Invitrogen GeneArt Team
Request:
Design, develop, and produce interactive "game" to render a string of text into a biological representation.
Solution:

A business partner from the Invitrogen GeneArt Cloning team asked our internal Agency to build out a "type of candy-land game, where a customer could enter their name and we would render a facsimile of a peptide ... for fun!"

The game, "The GeneArt Translator", would exist to drive traffic to the Thermo Fisher Scientific Cloning section through the magic of social media.

Because I have a background in server side and front-end development, I was asked to produce the translator from concept to production.

A project such as this lies outside my current UX career path ... but sometimes being able to jump back into development keeps the gears from getting rusty!

Fun stuff!
